Nestled in the rolling forests of Tryon's historical "Hunting Country" Hidden Fox Farm was established in 1922 and is one of the oldest equestrian facilities still in operation in the area. Once known for breeding and training the most impressive fox hunters and steeplechasers of the time, Hidden Fox Equestrian has evolved over the years to produce champion Hunter Jumpers and now Event horses.
While the original barn used in 1922 is still on the property and used for hay storage, a brand new facility was built in 2001 by James and Kristin Grantt. This is the facility used today as their daughter, Katherine, now operates the farm. |
